Al (Japanese: たもつ Tamotsu) is a lazy gorilla villager from the Animal Crossing series. He made his first appearance in Animal Crossing: City Folk.
Appearance[]
Al has lime green skin, dark green fur, round eyes, and thick, red lips. His eyebrows are dark green and thick. His eyes appear to be closed, showing how lazy villagers like to sleep.
House[]
In Animal Crossing: City Folk, even though Al is a lazy villager, his house has a sporty theme to it with Ball Catcher, Folding Chair, and the Scoreboard a few Boxing Theme items including the Boxing Mat, Ringside Table, Sandbag and Weight Bench. One Office Locker and Clothesline Pole lastly his wall and floor Concrete Wall and Lab Floor. His Tape Deck plays "Mr. K.K.".
In Animal Crossing: New Leaf, is house is almost completely identical to City Folk the exception is his Tape Deck is located on top of the ringside table and he added a Trash Can. Lastly his stereo plays "Steep Hill" instead.

As a lazy villager, Al will be easy to get along with due to his laid back lifestyle. Like all lazy villagers, he shares an interest in food and relaxing. He will enjoy partaking in the usual hobbies, usually for relaxing reasons or for food (fishing). He will get along well with other villager types such as the normal villagers who act as a mother or elder sister figure and peppy villagers who appear to be around the same age. He may offend or confuse jock villagers, who have a conflicting lifestyle of exercise and fitness, who do not understand the reason behind the lazy lifestyle choice.
