Blaziken (Japanese: バシャーモ Bursyamo) is a Fire/Fighting-type creature from the Pokémon series, and a newcomer fighter to the Super Smash Bros. series in Super Smash Bros. Strife.
Blaziken is voiced by Katsuyuki Konishi and Carter Cathcart in the Japanese and English versions, respectively. Konishi and Cathcart previously provided the voice of May's Blaziken from the Pokémon anime series.

Victory Fanfare[]
The victory fanfare used by characters of the Pokémon series in Super Smash Bros. Brawl and Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS / Wii U is reused for Super Smash Bros. Strife. The fanfare is a cover of an excerpt of the Pokémon Red, Blue, Yellow, and Green Versions title screen theme.
This fanfare is shared with Pikachu, Jigglypuff, Lucario, Mewtwo, Charizard, Squirtle, Ivysaur, Greninja, Victini, Pichu, Meloetta, and Scizor.
Victory Poses[]
- Blaziken performs three fiery kicks, before standing with its back to the player.
- Blaziken punches twice to the side, before turning and facing the player at an angle.
- Blaziken glows an orange before stomping down and unleashing a tornado of fire around it. When the tornado recedes, Blaziken stands with its arms crossed.
