Bluebear (Japanese: グルミン Gurumin) is a peppy cub villager from the Animal Crossing series, appearing in all canonical games since . Bluebear's name, easily enough, comes from the colour of her fur, blue, and her species, bear.
As her name suggests, Bluebear is a light-blue bear. She has dark blue hair and a white-tipped muzzle and paws, complete with white inside ears with a dark blue outside. She wears pink blush, and initially wears the Lemon Gingham, which is yellow and white.
In her house, Bluebear has all the items from the Blue set laid out throughout the room. Her radio plays K.K. Ska.
Below is a brief description of the peppy personality. For more information, click here.
As a peppy villager, Bluebear will always appear to be in a good mood. She will get along with other villagers including the player. She will enjoy the usual hobbies, and may ask the player for bugs or fish that she finds cute or has read about in Ms. Nintendique, an unseen magazine read by snooty and peppy villagers in . She will easily get upset, but due to a short attention span she will forget ever having the conversation. Like all peppy villagers, she dreams of becoming famous in the future. She will get on well with normal, lazy, and other peppy villagers, but may annoy snooty and cranky villagers with her upbeat personality.
Bluebear appears in the Wii U installment of the Animal Crossing series, My Animal Crossing. In the game, she is a peppy villager who is in love with the colour blue. Like other peppy villagers, Bluebear enjoys sweet food, her favourite being raspberry jam - which she often calls raspbearry jam. When befriended enough, Bluebear reveals that her brother is Kody, and, if they live in the same town, can often be seen talking to each other.
Bluebear's favourite holiday is easter, as she loves the hunt and the sweet chocolate as the reward.
