Bowser's Fortress is a race track in Mario Kart Destiny as a part of the Special Cup, along with Ninji Dynasty, Boo Bayou and Rainbow Rally. It takes place around Bowser's giant castle and inside his underground dungeon. Throughout the course, there are many jumps over lava with spinning fire bars and a giant Bowser robot that shoots fireballs. Near the end of the course is an underwater segment where Torpedo Teds are fired at the racers. In addition to Bowser's Fortress, Bowser's Castle 1 and Bowser Castle from Super Mario Kart and Mario Kart DS, respectively. Various Podoboos jump around the lava pits around the course.

Information
Appearance(s) Super Mario Kart
Mario Kart Destiny
Cup(s) Mushroom Cup (SMK)
Banana Cup (MKD)

Bowser Castle 1 reappears in Mario Kart Destiny from Super Mario Kart as a part of the Banana Cup, along with Yoshi Desert, Tick-Tock Clock and Rock Rock Mountain. The track is almost virtually identical to the original course, with the obvious change to 3D graphics like the other retro courses from Mario Kart: Super Circuit and Super Mario Kart. To make further use of this, there are some stone pillars poking out of the lava. All coin locations and item box locations are also the same.

The only major change to the track is at the second trio of boost jumps, in which players must use the glider to glide over the area, as that part of the track has sunk into the lava.

Bowser CastleEdit

Appearance(s) Mario Kart DS
Mario Kart Destiny
Cup(s) Special Cup (MKDS)
Lightning Cup (MKD)

Bowser Castle reappears in Mario Kart Destiny from Mario Kart DS as a part of the Lightning Cup, along with Toad's Turnpike, DK Jungle and Grumble Volcano. The track is almost identical to the original course, with the obvious change to better graphics. All coin locations and item box locations are also the same.

The few changes to the track include, at the part with the moving platforms, there is now a jump where racers must glide off. Also, there are now more Thwomps throughout the castle, along with a few lava geysers around the starting line.
