Call Of The Watch Dogs: Covert Warfare IV is the planned sequel to Call Of The Watch Dogs: Covert Warfare III and second game in Phase 5 of the Ubisoft-Pixar Crossover Universe. Nothing is known about the game at this point, other than the fact that Jackson 'Jacks' Pearce and Clementine Everett will be returning characters. During a DICE Summit in February 2020, Ubisoft-Pixar's creative director, Alex Amancio, confirmed that a sequel to Covert Warfare III was planned. Along with the announcement, a Promotional Poster was displayed showing Jacks and Clementine on the poster with the usual Covert Warfare Design, and a 20-second Teaser was shown. Treyarch has been confirmed as the developer for the game, just like the First Covert Warfare Trilogy. A sequel, Call Of The Watch Dogs: Covert Warfare V, is also in development.
Confirmed Characters Edit
Jackson 'Jacks' Pearce - The series' main protagonist and love interest to Clementine Everett. Jacks and Clementine both have a new mechanic for the game known as Legend Abilities, unique to their characters. Jacks has two special Abilites known as AOE Spike, that lets him pound the ground with two Energy Staffs and cause an energetic explosion that blows enemies to bits and releases an EMP on Robot Units. Jacks' Secondary Legend Ability is known as Gunslinger, which allows Jacks to use a 50 Cal. Revolver known as the M1 Irons COIL.
Clementine Everett - Lee Everett's adopted daughter and Jacks' love interest. Clementine's Legend Ability is attached to her Direct Neural Interface, letting Clementine summon an Exo Ping that allows her to see enemies through walls and in the dark. Clementine's Secondary Legend Ability is an Exo Shield that stops bullets and even Directed Energy Beams.
The teaser starts with a Villain Order Troop from his first-person point of view in the middle of a battle, with Helicopters and VTOL Warships crashing all over the place. The Troop then runs through the battlefield, and he grabs a SAC3 Submachine Gun, before shooting at two US Military Troops. However, the troop is shot in the chest and he falls to the ground and drops the SAC3 to the side as missiles, bullets and explosions are all around the troop. The troop then looks up and sees Jacks standing there, who picks up the SAC3 and shoots the troop in the head and the screen turns to black, showing a blue 'IV' as the release date is shown as November 9th, 2020.
