The Card Hero universe refers to the Card Hero series in reference to its representation within the Super Smash Bros. series of fighting games. Card Hero is a series of video games developed by Intelligent Systems to promote an obscure trading card game of the same name. The series consists of three games, none of which have been released outside of Japan. These games are: Trade & Battle: Card Hero for the Game Boy Color, Kousoku Card Battle: Card Hero for the Nintendo DS, and a small downloadable title named Card Hero: Speed Battle for the Nintendo DSi.
His name is Maruo Maruhige. He has a splendid moustache, and he's the eldest son of a long-established card merchant. After stints as a taxi driver and convenience store clerk, he settled into his role as heir to the card business, which has been in his family for five generations. He manages the Maruhige Card Shop.
"Main Theme (Card Hero)" is a remix of the title screen theme from the second Card Hero game, Kousoku Card Battle: Card Hero. Once its CD has been collected, it has a chance to play on the Kongo Jungle 64 stage.
This man (with, might I add, one incredibly swanky moustache) is Maruo Maruhige. He runs the Maruhige Card Shop, which has been in his family for five generations; though that wasn't his first choice in occupation. Before taking over the family business, he worked as a taxi driver and a normal store clerk. Don't worry, he's not all work and no play: he also works as the card dealer in the shop.
