Chiona (Japanese: ヘルガ snooty, rabbit villager in the Animal Crossing series. "Chiona" is a Russian name, and the fact that Chiona's main catchphrase, " ", is also Russian, can lead to believe that Chiona has a Russian background.) is a
Chiona is a cream-coloured rabbit with brown eyelids and blonde hair that covers her left eye. She wears a beige fedora that matches her trench coat, and has two blue earrings. She is not shown to put much time into her appearance, as she does not seem to wear lipstick, nor is her hair styled in a specific manor. She has long ears, both of which bend downward in front of her hat, while her small tail is hidden beneath her coat. On rainy days, she carries the Batbrella, unless she is carrying a tool necessary for fishing, bug catching, fossil hunting or gardening.
Initially, Chiona has a very empty house, with a concrete floor, and brick walls. She has various machines laying around, as well as a satellite model and a Grape Tee. She also has a tape deck in the corner, which plays Pondering. She has no gyroids, although can gain some if given to her as a gift.
Below is a brief description of the snooty personality. For more information, click here.
Chiona has a snooty personality, which means she will appear arrogant and snobbish towards the player and other villagers, but will appear friendly and nice in some discussions, provided they are mature and do not insult her lifestyle. She finds appearance important, and will get angry or upset if someone criticizes her sense of style or fitness, which means a conversation between her and a villager with a jock personality may leave either one upset or angry. Her attitude towards the player changes, as she begins to warm up to them, but she will still retain some arrogance and subtle rudeness. She may not get on with lazy villagers, due to their lifestyles - lazy villagers having a strong interest in food or relaxing of which will make her uncomfortable, angry, and upset when in conversation. She will upset peppy villagers, usually by gossiping about them, and finding small things to judge them on. She will get along well with normal, cranky, and other snooty villagers. If she gets sick, she will refer to you as her "only friend."
Chiona appears in My Animal Crossing as a snooty rabbit villager. In the game, Chiona is quiet and secretive, often hiding in her house or simply missing. She is almost never seen in shops, nor at public events, as she deems them too "chaotic". She is often hated by the other villagers in town.
Chiona is one of the hardest people to befriend, as she will likely only say one or two words ("Hi" or "Go away", for example) until she warms up to the player, and says very vague and seemingly pointless phrases ("I don't want you to get into to trouble" or "If you knew me, you'd hate me", for example). If she does have a favourite holiday, it is unknown.
