Chevre (Japanese: ユキ Yuki) is a female, goat villager who has appeared in every game in the Animal Crossing series. She has a normal personality. The name "Chevre" means goat in French, which matches her initial quote "la baa", a play on the French word "la" and the sound a goat makes, "baa". Her name is also the same word used for cheese made from goat's milk.

Appearance[]

Chevre

Chevre, as she appeared in Dōbutsu no Mori.

Chevre is a white goat, with wide blue eyes and freckles, which make her appear very young. She initially wears a natty shirt. Her horns are stripes orange and yellow. Her mouth is almost touching her neck. In Dōbutsu no Mori, Chevre has a look of a Snooty Villager with a few differences, such as her horns being different, and her eyes square. In Animal Forest and Animal Crossing, Chevre has a large curl for hair, but in later games, her hair is quite messy.

House[]

K.K

Chevre's house has a soft, European theme towards it, with many white furniture in it, most of the furniture is from the Classic Series and the Regal Series such as the Classic Bed and the Regal Wardrobe including a Daisy Umbrella and a White Boombox playing K.K. Chorale. The Wallpaper is the Cabana Wallpaper and the Flooring is the Regal Flooring.

Personality[]

Below is a brief description of the normal personality. For more information, click here.
Chevre has a normal personality. As a villager with the normal personality, she will be friendly and motherly towards the player. When she asks the player for favours, she often feels bad asking the player to do so. She will easily get sad or even mad. She will get along with most villagers, except those who are cranky, and sometimes even snooty. If you send her lots of letters with different gifts, she will stay in your town and not move away for a longer amount of time. This will also help you befriend her enough to obtain her picture in Animal Crossing, Wild Word. She wakes up at 5 AM like other normal villagers, and goes to sleep at 1:00 am. At some point, Chevre may want to collect clothing, so she will ask the player to try and find a certain piece of clothing, as some villagers do the same. You may also receive her picture if you do this many times.

Appearances[]

My Animal Crossing[]

Chevre appears in My Animal Crossing as a normal goat villager. In the game, Chevre often comes across as being a clean-freak, but reveals that she is allergic to dust once befriended. She has many hobbies, like fishing or bug catching, and usually walks around carrying one of the two tools. When asking you for help, Chevre is very sorry, and is very grateful once they are completed.

Chevre is one of the easiest villagers to befriend, and gets along with many people in town. Despite how she is often friendly to other people, she often describes herself as a loner, and does not have many close friends. Her favourite holiday is New Year's Eve.
