Frank (Japanese: ハルク Haruku) is a cranky eagle villager from the Animal Crossing series. Frank originally debuted in , as a jock islander, before reappearing nine years later in as a Cranky villager. Frank's Japanese name translates to Hulk, while his Spanish name, "Aquilino", translates to the name of his species.
Frank is a green, yellow, and red bird. His initial clothing is the Black Letter Jacket. He has heavy eyebrows and bags under his eyes. His yellow beak is tipped with red. He has red and yellow stripes on his legs. He seems to resemble a parrot, like Pierce.
Frank's house inis like any other island villager's house, with only a few pieces of furniture scattered within it.
In K.K. Casbah playing on his tape deck., Frank's house uses the lab wall and boxing-ring mat, and has many items from the Boxing Theme: two ringside tables, a boxing mat, a judge's bell, a blue corner, a sandbag and speed bag, as well as a weight bench. Below is a brief description of the cranky personality. For more information, click here.
As a cranky villager, Frank will appear mature compared to other personality types. This will make him appear belittling and insensitive to other villagers, including the player. He will enjoy the usual hobbies, but for relaxation and peace than competition. He will find it difficult to socialize with peppy villagers, who he will criticize when talking to other villagers. Frank in fact finds it difficult to socialize with any other personality including other Cranky villagers. Sometimes he will come to your town appearing somewhat friendly especially towards the player. But this is rare. The bad news is that Frank often comes to your town acting completely nastily towards everyone. He can even upset other cranky villagers and will often stay in his house. If you annoy him (push him, hit him with a net, say something mean or worst of all, trap him in a pitfall) there will be almost nothing to do which can improve your relationship with him.
Frank reappears as a villager in the Wii U installment of the Animal Crossing series, My Animal Crossing. In the game, Frank returns in the same form as he does in New Leaf, being a cranky villager. He gets along with jock villagers, though will rarely be seen around them, opting to stay alone at the café, or speak with other cranky villagers.
