Garden of Hope is a stage in Super Smash Bros. Strife, returning from Super Smash Bros. for Wii U. It is based in the second area of Pikmin 3, the Garden of Hope.
Alph is fought here in his unlocking battle once the specific criteria to do so has been met.
Stage Layout[]
The stage consists primarily of two long platforms that extend off the bottom of the stage, with a destructible platform bridging the gap between them. The platform on the right is higher than the one on the left. On one side of both platforms (the side closer to the blast lines), a platform is located which will lower when fighters stand on it and lift when not.
On the left platform, a large, up-turned bowl can be built by the Pikmin. The bowl will always appear at the beginning of the match, and can be broken by attacks. Fighters can be trapped within the bowl if it is built around them.
Similarly, a destructible object is also present on the right, though this object is instead a large stick that acts as a minor inconvenience, forcing fighters to either break through it or jump over it to get to opponents on the opposite side. If destroyed, Pikmin may appear after a short while to dig another one out of the ground.
A Bulborb can appear in the background of the stage. While it does not interfere with the fight, its presence will keep away Pikmin. Thus the bowl nor the stick will be rebuilt until it leaves.
Hazards[]
The Peckish Aristocrab, a powerful enemy from Pikmin 3 found in the Tropical Wilds and Garden of Hope areas of the game. It can appear on either side of the stage, which is signified by a stream of bubbles.
The Peckish Aristocrab will travel across the stage from whichever side it appears from. It will instantly destroy the bowl and stick, and will also deal massive damage and knockback to those in its path. If the bridge in the centre of the stage is destroyed, it will crawl down the side of the platform and off the bottom of the stage, instead of passing through the entire stage.
