Gaston (Japanese: モサキチ Mosakichi) is a cranky rabbit villager from the Animal Crossing series, appearing in all canonical games. Gaston is of French origin, as his name, catchphrase and photo inscription are all French.
Gaston is a yellow rabbit with blue ears, a large orange nose and a bushy moustache. Gaston's expression is always pointed and profound. He has a brown tail, brown legs and white paws.
Gaston has a mad scientist-esque house, with many machine and a hamster to conduct experiments on. Outfitted with a lab wall and steel flooring, Gaston's house has the eerie K.K. Dirge playing throughout. Oddly, Gaston sleeps in a hammock.
Below is a brief description of the cranky personality. For more information, click here.
As a cranky villager, Gaston will appear mature compared to other personality types. This will make him appear belittling and insensitive to other villagers, including the player. He will enjoy the usual hobbies, but for relaxation and peace than competition. He will find it difficult to socialize with peppy villagers, who he will criticize when talking to other villagers. Gaston in fact finds it difficult to socialize with any other personality including other Cranky villagers. Sometimes he will come to your town appearing somewhat friendly especially towards the player. But this is rare. The bad news is that Gaston often comes to your town acting completely nastily towards everyone. He can even upset other cranky villagers and will often stay in his house. If you annoy him (push him, hit him with a net, say something mean or worst of all, trap him in a pitfall) there will be almost nothing to do which can improve your relationship with him.
Gaston appears in the Wii U installment of the Animal Crossing series: My Animal Crossing. Often using various French phrases, Gaston is a mad scientist who works on various experiments (which usually end up failing). Gaston also reveals that he is the creator of all the machines in the -the Amazing, Complex and Unknown Machines-and will, albeit rarely, sell one to the player for a small sum of bells.
Gaston often spends holidays and celebrations inside, experimenting. Gaston often displays interest in theevent held during every month, as it allows him to sell some of his inventions.
