Kōtarō Takebayashi (Japanese: 竹林 孝太郎 Takebayashi Kōtarō) is a major protagonist of the Japanese manga and anime series Assassination Classroom. He is notably the only member of Class 3-E to be sent to another class at some point of the school year; as he temporarily attended A Classes. Takahiro Mizushima voices Takebayashi in the Japanese anime, while Scott Hinze does in the English dub.
Physical Appearance[]
Takebayashi has short black hair that reaches down to slightly below his ears. In the front, he has thick black bangs combed over to each side, exposing his forehead. He has thin eyebrows, and wears thin, ovalular glasses tinted white, so one is unable to see his eyes.
Personality[]
Takebayashi is a quiet student of Class 3-E, as he is usually seen in the background of the class' activities. He himself deems himself as useless when it comes to trying to assassinate Korosensei, due to his clumsy behaviour when it comes to physical activity. Due to his family being successful doctors, he sees himself as an outcast as his parents look down on himself; showing him to have an inferiority complex.
