This page details the compatibility of the Lucario amiibo within games on this wiki.
- For information on the fighter for which this amiibo becomes, see Lucario (SSBStrife).
All variations of the Lucario amiibo are compatible with Super Smash Bros. Strife. Like with Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS / Wii U, the amiibo becomes a Figure Player (FP) when scanned. While computer-controlled, the amiibo levels up as it fights, learning from its opponents as it does. Unlike in Super Smash Bros. 4, it can be levelled up to level 80 as opposed to 50. The FP collects collectible items during battle, which can be fully obtained by scanning the amiibo in the amiibo menu.
Data from Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS / Wii U is compatible with Super Smash Bros. Strife. Data from Super Smash Bros. Strife is not compatible with Super Smash Bros. 4, however, due to the higher level cap.
The Lucario amiibo, like all other amiibo, is compatible with Hyrule Warriors II. Like most other amiibo, the Lucario amiibo does not have unique content attached to it, instead just granting a random award when used. Scanning the Lucario amiibo will grant the player a random material, a random weapon rated three stars or lower, a single Rupee, or a random amount of Rupees between 100 and 2500.
The Pokkén Tournament 2 and Super Smash Bros. series amiibo are both compatible with Pokkén Tournament 2, though will unlock different content depending on the amiibo used. Any other Lucario amiibo not belonging to those two series acts like any other amiibo, granting a random customization piece or title for the player's avatar character.
Scanning the Pokkén Tournament 2 amiibo card of Lucario will grant a small bonus to Lucario's stats for local play. In addition, it will unlock Lucario's alternate palette swap for use in single player local play, instead of being exclusive to "mirror matches" (matches where both fighters are the same character). After its initial use, Lucario's amiibo card can be used to enter the amiibo Tournament mode detailed below.
Scanning Lucario's Super Smash Bros. amiibo figure will begin the bonus amiibo Tournament mode, where the player faces off against more challenging versions of Lucario, Pikachu, Charizard, and Mewtwo. The data is written to the amiibo whenever the tournament is won or lost, with the difficulty of the tournament changing depending on the result.
