Moveset Description
Down Smash The Sweep Kick from Super Mario 64, Mario does a breakdance kick that hits both sides. Mario's fastest smash attack, coming out as fast as all his tilts, and both hits semi-spike opponents, though the frontal hit is rather weak. Front hit KOs at 162% and up, whereas the back hit KOs at 133% and up, both from the middle of Final Destination.
Neutral Special Move Fireball Mario fires a small ball of fire that bounces along the ground six times before extinguishing.
Custom Variants Fire Orb A large ball of fire is fired forward that travels really slowly but can deal damage multiple times.
Double Fireball The fireball will split in two, with one travelling slower than the other one. Both fireballs deal half the amount of damage as normal.
Side Special Move Cape Mario whips his cape, which can reflect projectiles back at opponents.
Custom Variants Shocking Cape The cape can no longer reflect projectiles, but deals electric damage to those around it.
Sail Cape The cape can not reflect projectiles and deals no damage to those hit, but pushes Mario forward when used in the air.
Up Special Move Super Jump Punch Mario jumps upwards with his fist above his head. Opponents emit coins when hit.
Custom Variants Explosive Punch Mario's fist explodes at the peak of his jump, but he travels a shorter distance upwards.
Super Bounce Mario travels a shorter distance at first, but after coming in contact with an opponent he will bounce double the height of the first. Despite this, he deals no damage with either jump.
Down Special Move Mario Tornado Does a spinning tornado attack that deals multiple hits, culminating with a final blow that launches the trapped opponent. Tapping the special button will cause Mario to raise in the air while spinning.
Custom Variants Mario Drill Does a spinning drill attack that deals multiple hits, ending with an explosion on the final blow. Tapping the special button will cause Mario to spin faster.
Star Spinner Does a spinning tornado attack that deals no damage, until the final blow where eight coloured Lumas spread out. Tapping the special button will cause Mario to raise in the air while spinning.
Final Smash Mario Finale Mario fires two large fireballs that spin around each other as they rush across the stage horizontally.
