the original character select
According to an image of the original character select, Kamek, Koopa Paratroopa and King Boo were originally default characters. The character select screen was also done in a different style.
According to data found in the game, a Goomba, Rosalina, Dixie Kong and Dry Bowser (chr_kuribo, chr_luma_queen, chr_kong3, chr_koopa_dead) were originally coded in, though their CSP's were uncoded. There are also, though scrambled, appears to be data for Link, Kirby and Samus (chr_triforce, chr_kirby, chr_metroid) in the disc, leading to the fact that the game was originally a crossover.
