Onett is a stage in Super Smash Bros. Strife, returning from Super Smash Bros. Melee. The stage is set within the small town of Onett, Eagleland.

Ness is fought here in his unlocking battle once the specific criteria to do so has been met.

Stage Layout Edit

SSBStrife stage layout - Onett

The stage runs to the blast lines on both the right and left blast lines. The roofs of various buildings make up the majority of the stage's platforms.

A small blue house on the right of the stage has a short triangular roof, above which a festoon is located. The festoon acts as a platform that fighters can travel through both ways.

On the left of the stage is a yellow house which is located in both the foreground and the background. The right side of the house has a small platform extending out of it, while the left side of the house's main roof also acts as a platform. A tree is located behind the house, and two plumes of leaves act as platforms: one located above the house, and the other to the left of it.

Finally, in the centre of the stage is a large vertical building. It has two awnings that act as soft platforms. These awnings will fall over if stood on for too long, but will respawn over time.

Hazards Edit

Four cars can drive on the road in front of the stage, and those in the lane closest to the stage will deal damage to the fighters they come in contact with. Before they cross the stage, a warning arrow will appear. The four cars that can appear are:

  • a taxi, a magenta coupe, and a teal coupe, which deal the same amount of damage. The taxi deals slightly more knockback to fighters, while the coupes are more likely to spin out should they hit a fighter. In Melee and Brawl, the magenta coupe knocked fighters backwards as opposed to forwards.
  • and the Runaway Five's tour bus, which deals massive damage. It meteor smashes those in the air, while knocking those on the ground upwards.
