- For information on the fighter for which this amiibo becomes, see Paper Mario (SSBStrife).
The Paper Mario amiibo figure is compatible with Super Smash Bros. Strife. As with all other amiibo compatible with the game, the amiibo becomes a Figure Player (FP) when scanned. While computer-controlled, the amiibo levels up as it fights, learning from its opponents as it does. The FP collects collectible items during battle, which can be fully obtained by scanning the amiibo in the amiibo menu.
The Paper Mario amiibo, like all other amiibo, is compatible with Hyrule Warriors II. Like most other amiibo, the Paper Mario amiibo does not have unique content attached to it, instead just granting a random award when used. Scanning the Paper Mario amiibo will grant the player a random material, a random weapon rated three stars or lower, a single Rupee, or a random amount of Rupees between 100 and 2500.
The Paper Mario amiibo, like all other amiibo, is compatible with Pokkén Tournament 2. Scanning it grants the player a random customization piece or title for the player's avatar character.
- Like the Super Smash Bros. amiibo of Mr. Game & Watch, the Super Smash Bros. Strife Paper Mario amiibo figure comes with several poses that can be swapped out at will. In addition to a pose identical to his Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam artwork, he also has poses based on when he is laying down on the ground after being hurt in Super Paper Mario, posing with a hammer in a style similar to one of his Paper Mario: Thousand-Year Door artworks, and a jumping pose.
