Sakaki & Kaorin Puzzle Match is a puzzle game based on the characters from the Azumanga Daioh spin-off Sakaki & Kaorin developed by both Compile and Azumanga Interactive, and published by Bandai Namco Games for the Bandai CD Revolution.

The gameplay is similar to the Sega Saturn version of Puyo Puyo Tsu/Puyo Puyo 2 Battle. Except the game would mostly use BGM from both the first Puyo Puyo and Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine. And features original animated cutscenes done by the crew who did Azumanga Daioh (2002).

Plot[]

Chihiro's club decided to do a puzzle match with her friends to see who will become a great challenger. Around the middle, Tomo, Yomi and Kagura show up to join the challenge. Until the final level, the Tenjoin girls (from To Love-Ru) and Dark-Father show up to face them in a difficult match of the game. At the end, Chihiro gives the character (depending on who you play as) a badge for beating the Tenjoin girls and Dark-Father in the final match.

The 4 playable characters in the game are Sakaki, Kaorin, Chiyo Chan and Osaka.

There are 12 opponents that appear in the game:
