Super Mario Bros. 3 is a stage in Super Smash Bros. Strife. The stage is the first level from Super Mario Bros. 3, though based on its updated appearance from Super Mario All-Stars. It is a side-scroller stage, and continually loops.
Luigi is fought here in his unlocking battle once the specific criteria to do so has been met.
Stage Layout[]

The stage is a rather faithful recreation of the first level of Super Mario Bros. 3; though like the very similar Super Mario Land stage, the ability to travel down certain pipes has been removed. Additionally, the stage's blast line is lower than the top of the original stage; thus removing the platforms present in the sky in the original version. Like in Mushroomy Kingdom in Brawl and Super Mario Land in Strife, fighters can knock items out of the various ? Blocks should any be turned on. Additionally, the first fighter that touches the Goal at the end of the level with either grow as if they touched a Super Mushroom, shrink as if they touched a Poison Mushroom, become invincible as if they touched a Star, or drop a Fire Flower; referencing the Goal's rotation of a Mushroom Card, Star Card, and Flower Card from the original game. If the Poison Mushroom, Super Mushroom, Fire Flower, and Star are not all turned on, then the block will remain empty. All enemies present on the original stage have also been removed.
