Super Mega Baron Land 2 is a platform game featuring Mega Baron from Super Hikari Land 2: The Hidden Rubies and a spin-off to the Super Hikari games developed by Azumanga Interactive and published by Bandai Namco Games for the Bandai Extreme, Bandai Revolution and Bandai PocketTurbo Plus. It's a direct sequel to Super Mega Baron Land.

The story begins when he wakes up from a nap in the jungle and sees a group of masked monsters. He tracks them to a cave behind a waterfall and discovers a huge treasure. When Baron attempts to take the treasure, a trap is sprung, and he plummets into a huge underground labyrinth. It's up to the player to help Baron escape, while findong as much hidden exits as he can get his hands on the big treasure.

The game is very similar to the Virtual Boy Wario Land game from 1995. But the game isn't in 3D and is in color.

Super Mega Baron Land 2 is very similar to the first Super Mega Baron Land game As in the original game, Baron can collect different hats to give himself new abilities. The Statue Hat allows Baron to use a flamethrower against his enemies, but must recharge (he also cannot barge). The Warrior Helmet makes his barge attack faster and a lot more powerful along with the ability to do a ground pound, which can be used to crush his enemies and break blocks below. The Boost Hat allows Baron to fly as well as barge while in mid-air. By combining the Boost Hat with the Statue Hat, Baron earns The King Sorcerer Hat with the powers of all three caps (except barging). In each stage, Baron must find hidden exits and find a key to unlock the elevator to the next stage. Also, as in the first Baron game, the player has an opportunity to find different exists hidden around the stages to increase his or her overall score. There are also a few mini-games located between stages, in which Baron can gamble with the loot he has collected so far.

Unlike the first Mega Baron game, many stages have more areas located in their backgrounds. With the help of special blocks located in certain places, players can send Baron to these places.
