Suzaku Castle is a downloadable stage in Super Smash Bros. Strife, returning from Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS / Wii U. The stage is based on Ryu's home stage from Street Fighter II of the same name.

Stage Layout[]

SSBStrife stage layout - Suzaku Castle

Suzaku Castle consists of four platforms, three of which can be fallen through. Two smaller platforms float on the left side of the stage with pits on both sides of them. On the right side of the stage are two longer parallel platforms that lead off the right of the stage towards the blast line.

The bottom platform on the right of the stage is the sole solid platform, and contains two small signs in the background which can be broken by launching fighters near them. Upon destroying both of them, they will respawn after a few moments.

Ryu Stage Type A "Ryu Stage Type A" is a direct rip of the theme that plays on Ryu's stage in Street Fighter II. When the timer reaches 30 seconds in a timed match, the last character is down to their last stock in a stock match, the HP is under 100, or in Sudden Death, the song speeds up, just as it did when a character was at low HP in Street Fighter II.
