Zelda is the princess of Hyrule and the namesake of The Legend of Zelda games. Her appearance may change, but she always plays an important role. She knows much about the Triforce; in fact, the only person who likely knows more about Triforce lore is Ganondorf himself, whom Zelda evaded in Ocarina of Time by transforming into her alter ego, Sheik.
This amiibo figure shows Zelda™ in her toon-shaded incarnation from The Legend of Zelda™: The Wind Waker™ game. Zelda wears the ornamentation of the royal family.
For information on the fighter for which this amiibo becomes, see Zelda (SSBStrife).
All variations of the Zelda amiibo are compatible with Super Smash Bros. Strife. Like with Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS / Wii U, the amiibo becomes a Figure Player (FP) when scanned. While computer-controlled, the amiibo levels up as it fights, learning from its opponents as it does. Unlike in Super Smash Bros. 4, it can be levelled up to level 80 as opposed to 50. The FP collects collectible items during battle, which can be fully obtained by scanning the amiibo in the amiibo menu.
Data from Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS / Wii U is compatible with Super Smash Bros. Strife. Data from Super Smash Bros. Strife is not compatible with Super Smash Bros. 4, however, due to the higher level cap.
The Zelda - The Wind Waker amiibo that is a part of the The Legend of Zelda 30th Anniversary series becomes Toon Zelda instead of normal Zelda when scanned in. Toon Zelda also has a Super Smash Bros. Strife series amiibo of her own.
The Zelda amiibo, like all other amiibo, is compatible with Hyrule Warriors II. Like the other amiibo based on characters from the The Legend of Zelda series, the first time the amiibo is used, the player is granted an exclusive weapon. In the case of the Zelda amiibo, the player unlocks the Lantern weapon for Zelda. Subsequent uses of the amiibo will grant a random weapon for Zelda, any of the Rapier, Baton, Dominion Rod, or the aforementioned Lantern; rated 3 stars or higher.
